Incorporate the Library into Your Course

  • Require student bibliographies to include Library resources.
  • Include links to RU research guides in your syllabi or Blackboard courses.
  • Schedule an instruction session(s) for your on-campus or online class.
  • Embed a Librarian in your Blackboard course.

Important Things To Know

  • Your  RU ID is your library card. Use the entire ID number located on the back of your ID to access Library resources from off campus.
  • You can place supplemental course materials on reserve  at the library. 
  • RU Librarians provide information literacy and research skills instruction both in person and online.
  • Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is a service by which RU Library will borrow materials for you from other libraries that are not owned in print or electronic format by Roosevelt University
  • Use your ILLiad account to submit article requests, view received articles, and track current and past requests for articles.
  • RU Library provides students, faculty and staff with access to the research management tool RefWorks.
