The goals of the this event are:

• Create a thorough, authoritative, and high quality Wikipedia page for the Chicago Fire of 1874
• Learn about the history of Chicago, and specifically the South Loop area
• Learn about Wikipedia: how to edit it, how articles are created, what makes a good article
