COVID -19: Library Services

Roosevelt University Library Services

Effective Friday, March 20, 2020, the physical libraries of the Roosevelt University will be closed but remain open remotely. This includes the libraries on both the Chicago and Schaumburg campuses.

Hours of Operation:

Summer Hours (May 26 to Aug. 4):

  • Monday thru Thursday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Saturday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Closed July 3 and July 4 (Independence Day)

No overdue or lost fines will be assessed while the library is online. We encourage you to hold on to the physical items you have from any I-share library. The libraries will continue to operate online to support students, staff, and faculty. This includes online reference and research assistance, virtual classroom instruction, online reserves, and 24/7 access to online databases and e-resources. For more information about Roosevelt University and COVID-19, please visit the university's COVID-19 Emergency Response page.

Have library books at home and now they're overdue? No Worries!

In order to support institutions and students moving to distance education, many publishers are offering some or all of their e-resources freely for a period of few months. This list will change as more publishers add free content at a later date. Check back frequently. For questions, email refdt@roosevelt.edu
