  4. Put in search terms (add OR to include related terms)
  5. Keep track of search terms
  6. Narrow down by:
    • Date
    • Choose desired source
    • Select by publication (for Trade Magazines, Newspapers, Magazines, etc.)
    • You may or may not want to include Scholarly Journals at this time (If you need scholarly information, select Peer Reviewed and look for journal articles)

  1. Do Advanced Search with same search terms used with Academic Search Complete
  2. Choose Source Type
    • Trade Journal
    • Magazine
    • Newspaper
    • Maybe Scholarly Journal (depends on the information needed)
  3. Select for search terms to appear in the Abstract instead of Anywhere
  4. Choose Publication Title
    • ​​Select the publication(s) that best match(es) your topic
