Using PowerPoint to Create Videos

Overview

Handbrake for Windows

  • Download Handbrake from this Url: https://handbrake.fr/downloads.php

  • You should have already determined the time stamps for the beginning and end of your clip (Using VLC, iMovie, etc.)
     
  • Open Handbrake and select Normal under Legacy

  • Select Source

  • Find the saved video clip

  • Determine the Destination of the compressed clip by using the Browse button

  • To trim the video, change Chapters to Seconds. Put the time you want the video to begin and end (NOTE: On some computers, it may ask you to put the time in seconds)

  • Go to Legacy and select Normal

  • Select Start

  • You will see a green bar at the bottom of the window. When compression is complete, you will see Queue Finished in this same location. (Your video is now in mp4 format)
