CIA World Factbook: Select a country and the facts you would like to know about the country.

Library of Congress Country Studies Collection: This resource contains 80 books, written in the 1990s, about information from various countries. They have been photocopied so you will need to select the "view images in sequence" to read the pages. If you select All Formats, found next to the search box, you can find other pertinent information about life, art, etc. that will be more up to date.

World Bank Databank: Select the Countries tab at the top of the page. Then, select the desired country. You will find an overview of the country's economy and data about business information, life expectancy, poverty, and more.

International Data Base (IDB): US Census Bureau General demographic and socioeconomic data for most countries in the world.

Gale In Context: College: This includes scholarly journals, newspapers, periodicals, images, and videos

Business Information

First, select the Country Insight tab (found between the Bond Search and the Economic Search tabs). You will use the database to find two different reports. You will need to put in the date range for the desired information, the document type, and then select the country. The reports include the following:
