  • Premio Amici della Musica di Verona 2025This link opens in a new window 5th edition of the Premio Amici della Musica di Verona, a renowned international competition open to soloists and chamber music groups up to five members, under the age of 35 (for ensembles it is determined by the average age of all members). For the Preliminary Phase it is necessary to send the link of a professional or amateur video (or playlist), lasting between 12 to 20 minutes, uploaded on YouTube as Unlisted (in case of longer videos the Jury will stop listening exactly at minute 20). The Final Round will take place in the form of a concert: an entire Recital will be dedicated to the admitted candidates. Freely chosen programme, preferably of 50 minutes. This jazz trumpet audition will be conducted in two parts: (1) an initial screening and selection by pre-recorded submissions and (2) a live audition for those selected from the initial screening. Details concerning the pre-screening submission are attached. Please look over the requirements carefully to determine if you are prepared to audition at this time. The following information outlines important dates and requirements. 11 August 2025 – Deadline for receipt of all musical pre-screening materials 25 August 2025 – Notification of pre-screening results sent by email 10 October 2025 – Live audition at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, TX In addition to passing the jazz trumpet audition, applicants must meet all Air Force age, weight, medical, financial, legal, and citizenship requirements. Many of your initial questions concerning the USAF enlisted military experience can be answered at https://www.airforce.com/. If you are invited to the live audition, you will be required to meet with an official Air Force recruiter to be pre-qualified for basic military training. The audition coordinator can assist with this process and provide further instructions.
